Hey Family and Friends!!!
This week was better!!! So on Tuesday i woke up not feeling very well and sister palmer told me to go back to bed, so i went back to bed for awhile. i got sick again... but it wasn't that bad this time, but i just had to sleep it off.. we went out with one of the members of our ward Tuesday afternoon and we went to see a less active member so we looked at the ward directory and we plugged the address into sis palmers gps and we started driving and we drove for a long time and the ward member said that she was pretty sure that the person we were going to see didn't live out there so we turned around and drove back. the member was an older lady and we made her drive out to the middle of nowhere basically just to turn around and drive back! it was crazy, and i still wasn't feeling good and i got a little carsick because of all the windy roads!! but we came back and we went and saw a guy named bob, his wife is a member but is less active.. so we were able to share a message with him and then we went back to our apt. we had a dinner appointment with one of the tongan families in our ward and they took us to a Chinese buffet... it was ok! after that we went home and i went back to bed..
On Wednesday we had district meeting and we had to drive, the elders usually drive us.. so that was a lot of miles! then we went and visited some less actives, sister hummel, sister southern, and gretchen. When we were at gretchens house we played some baseball with her and her son and it was a lot of fun!! it was a nice warm day :) then we had a dinner appointment at the longs house. and we had some AMAZING soup it was soooo good :) then we just sat there and talked with them for awhile. brother long is our ward mission leader so we kinda had correlation :) haha!!! then we were driving home and we went through and intersection and all of the sudden we see this big truck coming at us and they hit us super hard!! and we flung around and hit another car that was coming through the intersection! it was soooo crazy! we are good, so we now don't have a car! jk April fools!! i just had to do that :):) hahahaha!!!!
on Thursday i still wasn't feeling very so i slept pretty much all day!! i woke up around 3 and i was feeling much better!!! so we decided to do some of our weekly planning so we could be some what productive!!! then that night we had a relief society activity so we went to that and they talked about reflections of Christ and it was really good!!!
Friday we finished out our weekly planning and then went and saw some people!! we went and saw our investigator Nancy. she kept her commitment!!!!!!! YAYYYYYY she is now a progressing investigator and we set up a church tour with her so she will probably come to church this Sunday!!!! AWESOME!! we went and tried this family that we tracted into and they weren't home, and there was a former investigator that who lived a couple houses down and we knocked on their door and this guy came out and started to talk to him about our church and he was like " ya i'm down with Joseph Smith, meaning i am an atheist..." CRAZY ! then bill took us out to dinner again and we went to this super fancy bakery and i had one of the best salads it was sooo good!!!! then we had a lesson with him and he is going through a hard time right now. he went to the doctors because he was having chest pains, and they looked at his heart and they found a black spot on the bottom of his heart and so he has a couple of doctor appointments this week to try to figure out what it is. hopefully everything will be ok!! after that we went and saw the cagnons, they are less active.
Saturday we went to the church and watched conference!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOO GOOD :):):) i loved it so much!!! i took notes which helped me focus so much :) the spirit was so strong!! during sessions we went and visited the cagnons again because they wanted us to come back.. then we went back and watched the other session!! afterwards we went and tried a lot of potential investigators and most of them weren't home and a few weren't interested.. a member came out with us and she took us to get ice cream!!! yummm :)
Sunday we went to the church again and watched conference!! it was soooo good!!! for lunch we went to the Stephens, it was soooooooo good :):) and they sent you a pic i am glad that you got it :) and i did wear my new shirt for Easter :):) thank you so much for the package i loved it sooo much!!! so then we went back to the church and watched the last session of conference!! 3 NEW TEMPLES!!!! YAYYYYY that is so awesome :):) after that we went and saw sister southern and sister shriver, they are both in the health care center and we were able to just talk with them!!!
This week has been lots better!!!! i am not that homesick any more.. being away for conference and Easter was a little hard but i got over it!! but i am really doing good!! i have been having really good studies in the morning this week, just reading the scriptures helps me so much!!! i started reading the BOM over again once i got into the mission field and i am in mosiah 18!! i just love the bom and i know it is true!!! i have spent a lot of time asking heavenly father a lot of questions about the gospel and i felt the truthfulness of all those things!!!! i absolutely love learning more about the gospel everyday and the spirit i feel all the time!!! i hope you are all doing great!!! i love you to the moon and back :):)
