This has been good but really crazy!!
Tuesday, we had transfers :( We had to go to the church first because there were some things that Sister Palmer had to do on the computer. After that the elders came and picked us up at our apartment and we had to fit Sister Palmer's and Elder Little's stuff in their little Volkswagen! It was fun haha!! Then we drove to Greentree where our stake center is. Then we had transfer meeting, Sister Palmer went to Pen Hills and I got Hermana Landa. She is a Spanish speaking sister. She is from Logan, Utah, she has been out for 7 months and Washington is her second area. She had 1 older brother and 2 younger brothers. She is the first to serve in her family. Tuesday night we had dinner at Ryli's, the girl who moved from Willard,UT. Than we went and saw the Cagnons, we usually aren't able to share a message with them but we did and it was great!!
Wednesday, we had district meeting and than we came back and went and tried some potential investigators and none of them were home or they had moved :( Than we went to a part member family and we were able to share a message with them. The member is the wife and she is less active. Her husband is the investigator and we were just going to pass them off to the home teachers because they weren't really progressing but when we shared the message he seemed interested so hopefully we can help them progress!! We had a dinner with the Hemmis's. Than we went home and Sister Landa did some language study.
Thursday, we went and saw the Sneberger's that morning. Than we came home and the person who was taking us out after that was already there so we left. (we skipped lunch) We went and saw Opal, she is an active member that is in the health care center because she just had a hip replacement. Than we were going to see Sister Southern who is in the same place but she was asleep. So we just went home and we got to eat a little!! haha. Than we went and tried some people and they weren't home. We had dinner with the conklins!! It was really good, we had tacos!! :) Than we went to the church and Sister Landa did her language study than we had correlation.
Friday, we did our weekly planning than we went and tried some people and we had this potential investigator named Daisy that we tried and her husband said to come back in an hour so we went and saw someone else than we went back and she was there and she came out and said that she wasn't interested :( Darn! That night we went to the Potts for dinner. We went to see a less active member and her husband was there and he answered the door and didn't let us in and it was just awkward!
Saturday. we went to a baptism for a primary girl. She is Tongan and so there were a ton of Tongans there!! It was awesome :) After that we went and saw Sister Southern and we walked in and she was so excited to see us!! She wanted me to hug her so I sat next to her on her bed and she just sat there and hugged me for awhile and then we shared a message with her. She is not doing very good and it is just so sad to see, I started crying because it kinda reminded me of Grandpa and it is just hard to see someone you love not doing good :( Than we went and saw Opal again. Then we went and saw Ryli and it was really good!! We were able to share a message with her and we talked to her about prayer and she loved it :) Than we went to the library and watched some Mormon messages!! We had dinner at the Potts again :) Than we went and tried a lot more potentials and we had no success :( We stopped by a less active and we have never been able to see him and he was there and he came out in his boxers and he said that he wasn't interested anymore :(
Sunday, we had a broadcast thing from Salt Lake. It was a stake conference for the East. It was good :) They talked about families!! Than we went and saw Marie!! And went home and had some lunch than did our studies and then went to dinner at the Potts again :) The Potts are so awesome!!! Than we went home and Sister Landa did her language study!
This week has been stressful because I have to take over and area and the work isn't very good but I was able to just pray to Heavenly Father so much and I know and have so much faith that this week will be so much better!!! So Sister Landa and I get along well!! We both feel that she will probably be six weeks shafted which means she will get transferred this next transfer! There will be 11 new sisters coming in so there is a pretty big chance that I will train! So you decided to redo the deck! That seems like a HUGE job!! You had a lot of birthdays this week!! Hope this next week will be more relaxing!! haha :) Well I am doing good, definitely progressing A LOT :)
I prayer for you guys every day!! I love you to the moon and back :):)
Love Sister Kierra Wadsworth
