Wow what another great week :) We went on exchanges and I went with
Sister Morrison to her area (normal PA). I forgot how people in PA
are, hahahaha ;) But it was great!! Our investigator Henry moved to
New York for a few months on Monday. On Thursday he texted us saying
that he found the church and that he was to meet the missionaries on
Saturday. The sisters there stay in contact with us on how he is
doing. Henry is so prepared and already loves the gospel so much and
has a great testimony. He met with the sisters on Saturday and they
said it went well. He went to church and a baptismal service. I am so
excited for Henry to be baptized in a couple weeks!!!
Our investigator Daniel is doing well. We had a lesson with him on
Friday and we were super bold with him about how he needs to have a
desire to know and not just be curious. At the end we asked him what
he needs to do and he said that the biggest thing he needs to change
is his curiosity to a sincere heart and true desire. It was awesome
and he is really progressing well :) He has kept every commitment we
have given him. He even came to Stake conference this weekend. We are
so happy for him as well!! On Friday night we had a "Meet the
Mormons" movie night. It turned out to be a really good turnout. We
were worried that people wouldn't come but quite a few people showed.
There was five investigators there!!! It was great :) Daniel came to
it and liked it.
This week we had zone conference and I had the opportunity to give my
departing testimony. I honesty can't believe how fast time has gone. I
feel like I just came out a few weeks ago. I will hit my 17th month
mark tomorrow..... WHAT?? It is sooo crazy... I love my mission sooo
much!!! It seriously has been one of the best things I have ever done,
probably the best thing I've done :)
I never thought how much my testimony would grow but it has so much. I
remember when my mission presidents wife bore her testimony and said
that she knew with every fiber of her being that the church is true
and I asked myself if I knew with every fiber of my being. I wanted to
be able to do that. I have prayed a lot since I've been on my mission
and asked God so many times if it is true and I am able to testify
with EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING that this church is true. We have the
right authority from God. We have all the truth. We have the fullness
of the gospel on the earth again. I know that Jesus Christ lives, He
loves us so much. I know that His Atonement is real and that we can
become better through Him. I know that Joseph Smith did see Heavenly
Father and Jesus Christ and he did indeed restore the original church
Christ had set up when he was on the earth. I know he is a prophet of
God and that his successors since then are men called of God to be His
prophet. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to know who God
is and have a personal relationship with Him. He loves ALL His
children unconditionally no matter who we are, what we do, what we
look like, He loves us no matter what! I am so grateful that I able to
testify of all this and know with certainty that it's true. The spirit
has testified to me of all this truth. We can find it all right in the
Book of Mormon which is part of Gods word and contains the fullness of
His church. I want to say as Joseph Smith did "I know it, and I know
God knows it, and I cannot deny it!" And I say all this in the name of
our Lord and Savior, even Jesus Christ Himself, amen.
I love you all to the moon and back :) Have a great week!!
Love,
Sister Wadsworth
