May 9, 2016

Hey y'all!! It was seriously so great to talk to my family. It's so
weird to thing that in a few months I will be with them again... Never
what it to end though. Time has gone by so fast. It was so weird
hearing Blakes voice, it has gotten so deep!! Hahaha

So to start the week out Sister Ewell and I took both of our
companions to Pittsburgh because they were flying back to temple
square. I said bye to Sister Chuah and I really miss her! She's such a
hard worker I love her. Right before we left we went to an outlook in
Pittsburgh and took some pictures! So Sister Ewell and I were put
in a trio with a new temple square sister named Sister Wentzel.  She
is from South Africa, she has been out 10 months, she is the hardest
working missionary I have ever been with. She is an answer to my
prayers for real!!! Sister Wentzel didn't come to Pittsburgh until
Wednesday so Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon we got to go back
to Butler. It was soooo amazing to be back :):) Tuesday night we went
and saw Bill, he is doing ok. Still struggling with some things but I
know that one day he will enter into the waters of baptism!! On
Wednesday we went and saw Becky and Bobbie. It was so sweet, their
faces were priceless when they saw me!! I love them so much :)
Then we had dinner with President and Sister Johnson at Panera. My
trio is amazing though! They're both sooo hardworking and
diligent. It's been a blessing to be able to be in this trio. We have
had both area books to be in charge of so its been pretty busy!

One of my highlights this week was out lesson with Jacob. We related
his experience with Joseph Smiths. We invited him to be baptized and
he said yes!!! He went back to Bethlehem PA, his home town, on
Saturday and won't be back until sometime in August. But we said that
we shouldn't wait for him to get back to be baptized so we set his
baptism date for June 4. He was sooooo excited!! The spirit was so
strong in the lesson. Jacob is so prepared to be baptized and he even
said in his prayer that he was grateful that he was able to find this
new faith. I am so happy for him!!! No matter where he is he will be
able to go to church and learn the same things and feel the same
spirit he did while he was here. The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. There is
nothing like it. No other church has that opportunity! I know it's
true and I knew Jacob knows it's true because he is willing to follow
the example of Jesus Christ and be baptized. I am so grateful for
missionary work, we have the front row seat the greatest miracle of
all: the effect of Christ's atonement on individuals and families.

Well it sure was a great week for us here in State College, hope it
went well for you all as well :) Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers
reading this!!! You guys are the best :)
Alma 56:47-48 "47 Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear
death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than
they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers,
that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them.
48 And they rehearsed unto me the words of their mothers, saying: We
do not doubt our mothers knew it."

I love you to the moon and back!!! Have a fantastico week :):):):)

Love,
Sister Wadsworth
