Hey family and friends!!!
Wow what another great week it was for us. We have literally been
sooooo busy, it's just the best ever!
So we met with Henry this week and he is going to move to New York
today for a couple of months. Cool thing is that he is coming back for
his baptism on June 25th. He has made so much progress!! Yesterday I
was pondering on how much he has grown. He now believes in God, prays
everyday, read the Book of Mormon everyday, comes to church, and is
going to be baptized in a few weeks. God is all powerful. How it
happened so quickly I don't know but I know that it couldn't have
happened without the Lords hands. I know God loves Henry so much and
has so much in store for him. Henry is a precious son of God!! I am so
grateful we had the opportunity to work with him. He also asked us
when we are each leaving, and he said "I will come back before you
leave to say goodbye," he is so sweet, and he is just growing so
much!!!
On Tuesday we were on campus, we have 3 hours two times a week where
we go and stand on campus and try to talk to people. So on Tuesday I
stopped this guy named Matthew. We were talking for about 25 minutes
and during our conversion I asked him three times to meet with us and
he finally said yes!! Awesome thing is that we role played the same
thing earlier that morning! It was so awesome. We met with him on
Saturday and he said yes to baptism on July 16!! He came to church, he
was late but he still came :):):) God is so good!
Daniel, our investigator, is doing well. He still has a few concerns
but he is coming around. He absolutely LOVES church :):) We emailed a
guy named Aaron this week to meet with him and he said he wanted to so
we met with him. It was the craziest lesson I have ever had. He
started to explain to us that he has had visions. He has seen Jesus
Christ.. We feel like he really has. He is super spiritual and said
that he will maybe one day come to church. In his own timing. It was
just different to talk to someone who has seen visions. It was pretty
neat though :)
I love serving in this area and with Sister Wenztel. I hope to stay
here the rest of my mission and maybe it will happen :):) I know this
church is true and I know that we can't do anything without gods
hands. This is His work and His mission!!! I love it :):):)
Love you to the moon and back! Have a great week ;)

Hey family and friends!
Wow can you believe that May is almost over. Time is FLYING by!
Oh my!!! This week has been soooo amazing :):):) There have been so
many miracles happening. This past month has probably been one of the
best months of my entire mission. It's been so amazing. Sister Wentzel
has been such a great example to me of diligence and hard work. I have
never been so exhausted in my entire life but it is the best feeling
:) Knowing that when you did everything you could in that day makes
you feel so good!! When you see the Lords hand in everything makes all
the hard work, sweat, and tears sooo worth it! It's just the best :)
As missionaries, every morning we quote D&C 4 and in there it says to
work with all your heart, might, mind, and strength. We are trying to
exactly that!!
So Henry and our new investigator Daniel came to church today!! So we
met Daniel on Wednesday. We actually had another lesson with a new
investigator also named Daniel but he cancelled so we went tracting :)
While we were tracting we weren't having much success until we were
about to go knock on the last door before we went in for the night. I
got a prompting to wait a minute and I told Sister Wentzel but she
didn't hear me but I just waited there any ways. Not 5 seconds later
Daniel walks out of his apartment and we start talking to him. We
introduced the Book of Mormon to him and he was interested in learning
more. He now has a baptism date and is coming to church and loves it!!
He has a lot of questions and is so sincere about it. He really wants
to follow the path God has for him. It's so amazing :) The Lord truly
is so amazing to us!!! :)
A couple weeks ago we talked to this girl named Kiki on the bus. She
said that she talked to Sisters a couple months ago but nothing really
happened. So we set up a time to see her and share more with her and
she seemed to be interested. So we had an appointment last Saturday
but it didn't happen. She said that she had gotten a concussion. We
were a little discouraged because the sisters who tried her before
never were able to meet with her so we were wondering if she was doing
the same thing. But we kept in contact throughout the week and we got
to see her on Saturday. That morning she texted us saying that she has
a Mormon friend who is coming to her lesson. That was pretty cool! So
we met with her and she is so prepared!!! She really wants to know
what is right for her and is willing to apply Moroni's promise into
her life! She is working towards August 20th for baptism now. She is
so fun and has a great personality as well :) We are so happy for
her!!
Henry is progressing so well!! He is opening up so much and becoming a
blooming flower :) Hahaha. I remember the first time we met with him
he hardly said anything and now in our lessons he is the walking
talking the most. He is like a sponge, soaks everything up :) He is
leaving to New York for the summer next Monday. He said he wants to
travel back here to be baptized on June 25, he will ride a bus all the
way from New York to be baptized!!! That is so amazing :):):) He is
one of the most prepared people I have ever worked with. He loves the
gospel. Oh and in our lesson on Saturday we asked him if he believes
in God. He said yes he does and bore his first testimony to us that he
does believe in God, even though he doesn't answer us directly, He is
there and He loves us!! It was so sweet :) He is blossoming!!! :)
It has been seriously such a great week here in State College. I LOVE
IT SOOOO MUCH!!!! Sister Wentzel and I are doing so good together. We
both are trying to be the best missionaries we can be. Doing
everything we can to fulfill the work of the Lord. It is amazing how
much the Lord blesses us for being obedient and doing all we can. I
love being a missionary. It is the work of the Lord, it is His mission
not mine. We are just the mouth pieces. The spirit is the teacher. I
know the message we share everyday is true. I am so grateful for it in
my life. I love you all so much, to the moon and back!!! Have a great
week :):):)

Hey family and friends!!
So first off....Henry, our investigator, came to church yesterday
again! It is awesome, he doesn't understand English too much but he
told us yesterday that he wants to come every Sunday and he will do
all he can to come, he travels for an hour on the bus to get to
church. That is true faith. He is amazing, and he loves learning with
us, he is opening up too, and the members show him such love when he
is there. It's pretty amazing.
So the other night we had a choice to make, and it was between
something good and something better. So there was a game night at the
church and we were invited to go, but we felt that we should go and
tract instead, so we did. And when we went Tracting it was such a
great experience, we knocked on this one door, and when he opened it,
my companion and I were so dumbfounded, we didn't know what to say, he
was so tall! Hahaha, so we just introduced ourselves, and then we
said, do you want to learn more? He said, "I can't say no to the
Almighty"...so we will meet with him tomorrow. It's so awesome!!!!
Then on the way home we met another guy, and we started talking to
him, and we spoke about the name of the church how it's named after
Christ, how if a church be named after Mose it is Moses church, or
if in the name of man it is named after that man, but this is Christ's
church and it's named after Him. The spirit as so strong, testifying,
he said, "That's powerful" we asked what does he feel right now, he
said its eye opening. Then we testified that God is telling him the
truth and that we can share more and he was open to it. It was
awesome.
Then the other day we were waiting for the bus, and this rancid smell
came out of nowhere. The sisters were like, "that smells like a
skunk!"
Then we saw a skunk had been hit by a car, and it was still alive. It
was so sad!!! But they tried to save it, but we stunk like a skunk the
rest of the day, yuck!
Anyways so we had a few interesting experiences Tracting yesterday. It
was great though, one guy opened the door, but he didn't have any
pants on, so we introduced ourselves as sister missionaries, and he
said ok, this is embarrassing, I'm going to go and put some pants on.
Hahahaha, he isn't even religious but he must have realized something,
he is very interested to learn more with us as well, it was super
funny, I had to stop myself from laughing. It was so great!
I love serving in this area and also this branch, it's amazing!!! Have
a fantastic week!!! Love you to the moon and back :)

Hey family and friends!!
This week has been so amazing!!! Probably one of the best weeks of my
mission. I love serving with Sister Wentzel. She is such a hard worker
and we get stuff done! This week we have seen that being exactly
obedient brings blessings. We have been trying to be exactly obedient
and the blessings have come. God is so real!! :)
So this week we has two members come out with us different times who
are preparing to go on a mission. It has been so great see them
getting in the mode of missionary work. I didn't remember how hard it
was until they started coming out with us. It still isn't the easiest
to talk to people in the street or knock on someone's and try to share
the gospel with them but I truly have seen a difference in the past 16
months. The mission truly does change people because we see so many
miracles happen everyday and it helps our testimonies grow.
Last night we were out tracting with Garett(preparing to go on a
mission) and there were these two people standing outside. One had a
cigarette in her hand and the other was dancing. He was really happy!
Hahaha we went and talked to them and come to find out they are
looking to come back to a church and find the truth. Don (the one who
was dancing) is going in the navy to be a Chaplin. It was so good
because we had a great discussion about religion and got to know them
so well!! :)
Oh we had an awesome with a new investigator and his name is Yong. He
comes from China and has no religious background. We were planning on
teaching him just about the godhead and he just kept asking great
questions so we ended up practically teaching the whole Restoration.
It was so awesome!!! The smile that was on his face was priceless. And
we talked to him on a bus! On the bus! :):) it was great!!! We invited
him to be baptized and he said that he can't swim.. It was kinda funny
but we showed him what happens and he said he would be baptized! It
was a great lesson :):)
I hope you are all doing good and will have a great week!! This week I
hit my 16th month mark... I honestly can't believe how fast time has
flown by.. I feel like I am still a greenie sometimes, haha. I am
loving being in State College and a missionary at this time!! I love
you all to the moon and back :)
