Hey family and friends!!!  HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!! :)

This week has been great!!!

Monday, after emailing we went to some outlets that they have here and just looked around in the shops. I didn't buy anything because it was pretty expensive (and I don't have money haha!!) and they didn't have a lot of modest clothing... When we were leaving it started poring rain!! We got soaked!! Than we went got our hairs cut (just a little trim) then we went to the Behlings for dinner. we had Navajo tacos and they were super good!!!! :) After that we went and saw Sam, one of our new investigators. He has been cancelling a lot of our appointments so we gave him the drop talk :( We told him if he wanted us to come over and teach him that he needed to call us. We also saw the Cagnons, we talked to them about taking the sacrament weekly and invited them back to church!! The spirit was super strong!!!

Tuesday, we had zone training and President Johnson was there and we talked about planning and teaching with the pamphlets. It is what we learned when we went to MLC and the mission department trained us on. We were role playing the restoration and we got to the picture of when Joseph had the first vision and I accidentally called Joseph Smith Jesus Christ, it was terrible!! HAHA!! Than we went to lunch and went back home and we did personal study and Sister Landa wasn't feeling good so we stayed in for the rest of the day. I ended up ready Joseph Smith History all the way through and I said a prayer afterwards and I asked Heavenly Father is those things really did happen and I had such a great feeling inside of me that it is all true!!! I know that what Joseph Smith did is true!! It was an awesome experience :)

Wednesday, we went and did service at ARC for a couple of hours. After that we went and had a lesson with our new investigator Jessica. We talked to her about faith, it was good!! Her mom is super religious and so Jessica didn't want her mom to know that we were coming over so we told Jessica that she needs to tell her mom that she is investigating the church and hopefully that goes well!!! After that we went and saw Nancy. We taught her the Word of Wisdom, and she didn't understand why we can't drink tea and we told her we don't really know but the Lord has commanded us to not drink it and if we truly want to follow Him than we need to do what He asks of us and she didn't argue it anymore!!! She said that she would work really hard to quit smoking!!! Then we went to the library and did our mormon.org time then we went to the Hemmis's for dinner :) After that we went home and Sister Landa did her language study :)

Thursday, WE GOT OUR IPADS!!!!!! The entire Pittsburgh, PA mission was there :) We did lots of training and it was a lot different than I expected. I thought they were going to train us on how to use it but they taught us that it is here to help us hasten the work of the Lord and how we need to have in our hearts not to fall into temptation and do anything that is bad :) And how this will also help us for our future. After all the training we got our iPads :) So that took almost all day. We had correlation and that is it.

Friday, we had a great day!!! We had an AMAZING lesson with our investigator Chanda. She opened up to us so much and she felt the spirit so strong!!! We had Sister Potts with us and they connected really well!! We were all crying by the end of the lesson because the spirit was so strong :) After that we went out to Burgettstown, furthest we go :), we had an older lady drive us out there and talk about car sickness!! Haha it was crazy :) But we had some good lessons with some of our less-actives out there. After that we went had dinner at the Lindley's and came home and did some weekly planning.

Saturday, we did some studies and I wasn't feeling very well.. ( constipated..) so we went to the store and got some medicine and came home and I slept for a little bit. Than we went and had a lesson with our investigator George. It was an OK lesson.. We don't know if he is truly interested because he got in contact with the church for food and now he is asking us for a car.. So don't know for sure what we are going to do with him.. After that we went and set up our ipads, got things downloaded on them. After that we went and saw Gretchen. We talked to her about the sacrament and we had a really good discussion with her :) Than we went home and had dinner and did weekly planning.

Sunday, we had PEC before church. We taught the Gospel Principles class :)  After that we went home and did studies, than we had a lesson with our investigator Kenny. It was the last lesson before his baptism :) After our lesson he had a baptismal interview and he is good to go for baptism!!! YAYYYY :) Then we went home and had dinner! :) HAHA

Today we are going to a ward memorial day picnic at noon. I am excited to do that, they are going to have lots of fun things to do!!  :)
Life is going good her in PA. I might be getting transferred but not for sure yet.. I will know this Saturday.

So you bought a house in Island Park!!! WOW! You guys have been doing a lot of work :) HAHA I hope everything is going good!! Love you all to the moon and back!! Can't believe school is almost over! CRAZY! :) Oh and they are going to build a new high school YAYYYY :) Well hope all is going well!! Talk to you later :)

Hey family and friends!!!!

This week was AMAZING!!!!  Of course I got to face time the family and oh how much I loved that!!! It was great :):)

So Monday we didn't have our P-day because we were going to the temple!! So we just worked all day!! We went to lunch with Ryli because she was leaving :( After that we went and had a lesson with one of our referrals that we received a couple of weeks ago and she had a lot of questions! We taught her the Restoration and set a return appointment with her so we were able to pick her up as a new investigator!!! Than we went to the library and emailed President before we went into the library there was this lady on the other side of the road and the spirit told me that we needed to go talk to her. So we shared a pass-along card with her and went into the library for a little while and than we walked out and she was just sitting on the ground and so we decided to do and sit with her and shared the Restoration with her and she is SUPER interested!!! We picked her up as an investigator too :):)  That was awesome!!! Than we had a lesson with our 11 year old investigator Buddy. After that we went to the store to get some groceries and we went home and had dinner. Than we went and saw a less-active family, the Zitos.

On Tuesday we had district meeting so we went to that. After that we went and saw the Halonis (Less-active). Than we went and saw Nancy, we had a good lesson with her about fasting. That night we went to the addiction recovery program.

Wednesday, we had received a referral from our bishop and so we went to that lesson with him and we were able to pick the referral up, his name is George, as an investigator!!! SWEET :) After that we went to Ryli's to say goodbye to her and she had to go pick her dad up at the airport in Pittsburgh and she wasn't home yet so we waited for awhile and we had to leave because she was going to be back in time because we had a dinner appointment. So we met the elders at the library because we were driving them. We had dinner at Bishop's house!! It was good :) That night we went and tried a less-active and the house was vacant and it was pretty sketchy.. It was further out so it took awhile to drive :) We had Chelsie Brown drive us. She is just a member of our ward and she loves coming out with us :) She also got us ice cream!!!

Thursday, we went and did service at ARC for a couple of hours and then went home and did some weekly planning. We had a dinner appointment at the Williams and before that we went and saw Sister Southern, she is in the hospital and is not doing to good :(

Friday, we got to go to the temple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooooo good :):) It was great! I absolutely love the temple so soooo much!!!!! I took lots of pics!! :) I am so grateful that I was able to go to the temple :) It took almost all day. That night we went to the Torres for dinner :) Than we went home and did a little bit of weekly planning!!

Saturday, we went and did service at ARC again, we helped them set up for a party they were having. Than we had a lesson with George again. We set him with a baptismal date for June 20!!!! YAYYY :) Than we had a lesson with Nancy. It was going good than her son walked down the stairs and started to totally cuss us out hardcore!! He was dropping the f-bomb so many times he called us that word and he was yelling at Nancy, he told us that there was no reason to be there, and that we weren't true representatives of Christ and it was just crazy. I said lets just go outside so we went outside and finished our lesson. It was crazy because Sister Landa and I couldn't say anything because the spirit wouldn't let us.. It was just crazy but we are safe :) After that we went to the library to plan for ward council for Sunday and than we went and tried some people. That night Chelsie went out with us again and we went to see some people and none of them were home so she took us to see this HUGE house, basically it is a castle (I have pics!!) and than we went to her house and shared a message with her family (mom dad and her. she is 25 and single)

Sunday, we went to church and Nancy was going to come. She usually has to babysit her grand kids if her son is working. He does landscaping and if it rains she doesn't have to watch the kids and it was raining and her son never came home so she couldn't come to church. She can't bring the kids because they don't want to give her a car seat... It is just a sad situation... But after church we had a lesson with Buddy and we set a baptism date for May 31 so in just a couple of weeks!!!!! YAYYYYY :) SO EXCITED!! Than we went to Marie's and we have her the drop talk :( We told her that she needs to read and pray and when she starts doing that she can call us.. So that was sad :( I always hate doing that because I love these people and I know what they can have.. Arghh!!  That night we had dinner with the Smiths!

I can't believe that I have already been out for 4 months!!!! IT'S CRAZY! Time has truly flown by! I am loving missionary life right now!! Things are doing really well in this area!!! The weather here has been crazy! It rains a lot and if it isn't raining it is super hot and humid! We get ipads this week!!!! On Thursday! The entire Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh mission is going to be together!! There is like 200 missionaries, it is going to be sooo much fun :)

I love you all sooooooooooooooooo  much!!!!!! Hope you all are doing good!!!

Love Sister Wadsworth

One of the elders I served with in the MTC who went to Guam he went home because he was super sick but he is going back out in a couple of weeks! They also had a super bad typhoon there!! Crazy! I truly do have it good here!

BTW I haven't had any homesickness since we facetimed!!! #sograteful!!!

Love you all to the moon and back :)

Hey family and friends!!!

This week has been SUPER!!!

Monday, after emailing we played sports with the elders and Ryli, it was a ton of fun :) Than we went home and had dinner than we had a couple appointments that night. We went and saw our investigator Nancy. We were going to talk with her about the word of wisdom but the spirit prompted us to talk about something else. We just asked her if she was truly interested in us coming over and teaching her and she said that she was!! YAYY :) Than we went and saw the Cagnons, and we talked with them about the Atonement!! It was good :)

Tuesday, we had to get our car inspected so we drove to the service place and they said that it was going to take ALL day! So we called a member from our ward and asked her if she could come pick us up. We waited for her for about an hour and than she took us home and we did some planning than we decided to walk to the library ( 1.7 miles away from our apt). I just watched Mormon messages for an hour. While on the way to the library we stopped and talked to this guy named Sam and he was interested and he gave us his address and phone number :)
Than the service place called and said that our car was done and so we called a different lady from our ward to come get us. She came and dropped us off at the car place and than we went and saw the Vaea's (LA Tongan family). We than went to the church and had our ARP class (addiction recovery program) than went home!!

Wednesday, we had district meeting so we drove to Wheeling, Ohio. Than we drove back and we did some more planning and studies :) Than we went and saw a less-active that we have never met before and she was not interested but super nice!! She said that they have a farmers market and they would feed us for free any time! Than we went and contacted some referrals that we got from a member and we went to the first house and we walked up and told them that we were missionaries from the church and we barley made it half way through that and he said "I'm not interested, and I would appreciate if you leave!" Ya that was probably the most harsh rejection I have gotten on my mission!! We now joke about it :) So we left and to the next house and he was nicer but they weren't interested either.

Thursday, on Wednesday President called us and invited us to MLC ( missionary leader council). They have a training that was given by the mission department and they told Pres. to invite others missionaries and he invited only a few! So zone leaders, sister training leaders, and a few other missionaries were there. We were able to receive the training and it was sooooo awesome!!! :) The training was on teaching and planning. We have been doing missionary work wrong is what they basically told us!! haha :) But they just showed us how to teach better with the pamphlets we have and how to plan better as well!! :) It was awesome :) Than we drove home and planned and did some studies :)

Friday, We went and tried some potential investigators and none of them were interested :( But we had a member driving us around and we went and saw some less-actives that we never met and those who we saw were not interested either :( BUT!! We had a lesson with Nancy, using the new way to teach the restoration from the pamphlet that we learned from the training, and we had an AWESOME lesson!!!! The spirit was SUPER strong and we invited her to baptism and she accepted!!!!!! We set her with a date for June 20 :):) SO EXCITING!!!! YAYYY :):) Than we went and had dinner with the Cagnons and than went and saw a member in our ward so they could meet Sister Landa.

Saturday, we went to the library so we could update things on the computer for our meetings on Sunday. Than Riley came and picked us up and we went and tried some people and we went to see Sam but he wasn't there :( Then we went and helped Ryli with some things she was doing because we didn't have anything else to do :) That night we went to see Sister Southern at the health care center but she wasn't there, she went home, so we went and saw Gretchen. It was perfect timing to see her because she was struggling!! She opened up I was able to connect with her super well!! We both cried! Haha women! :) But it was a really good lesson :):)

Sunday, we had meetings in the morning than church. After church we went and saw Sam, with a member, and we had a good lesson with him too!! He accepted baptism!! June 27 YAYYYYYY!! So we are doing SUPER good with the work right now :):):) Then we went and contacted a referral that we got from a member in our Stake and she was sick but she said she was interested and said we could come back!!! :) Awesome! Later that night we went to the Kelso's house for dinner. That is the family of the little boy we are teaching! He wants to be baptized on June 7 his birthday!! His family is going to talk about it so we don't have a set date yet!! But we are close :)

So this week has been super good with the work :) I am doing great!!! Sister Landa and I are doing great!! Sounds like you have had a busy week!! Glad you are done with the deck!

Sister Landa is called to speak Spanish but there isn't a lot of areas that are Spanish speaking so they sometimes serve in English areas. We haven't gotten any new investigators because she is Spanish speaking, but we have gotten a new investigator :)

I am super excited to Skype this weekend!!! Can't wait :) Hope you all are doing good :) Love you to the moon and back!!! :)
